387 patients in Transcarpathia have been confirmed to have COVID-19
"During the past day, April 27, 352 people sought emergency medical care, 4 of them had symptoms of acute pneumonia, 10 were suspected of having COVID-19" – the director of the Health Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Yelizaveta Birov said.
133 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected. 12 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19, 7 of them are medical workers.4 people with signs of acute respiratory infection and 10 persons suspected of having COVID-19, including 6 patients diagnosed with COVID-19 were hospitalized in health care institutions over the past day. Overall, as of 9:00 am on April 28, 2020, 387 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 96 are health care workers and 16 are children. 2170 polymerase chain reaction tests have been carried out.
According to the Public Health Center, as of 9:00 am on April 28, there have been 9410 laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, of which 239 were fatal, 992 patients have recovered. During the day, 401 new cases were confirmed. Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:

Volyn region – 260 cases;
Dnepropetrovsk region – 318 cases;
Donetsk region – 52 cases;
Zhytomyr region – 354 cases;
Transcarpathian region – 387 cases;
Zaporizhzhya region – 208 cases;
Ivano-Frankivsk region – 783 cases;
Kirovohrad region – 356 cases;
Kyiv – 1298 cases;
Kyiv region – 604 cases;
Lviv region – 371 cases;
Luhansk region – 32 cases;
Mykolaiv region – 116 cases;
Odesa region – 248 cases;
Poltava region – 180 cases;
Rivne region – 553 cases;
Sumy region – 95 cases;
Ternopil region – 664 cases;
Kharkiv region – 221 cases;
Kherson region – 88 cases;
Khmelnytsky region – 72 cases;
Chernivtsi region – 1429 cases;
Cherkasy region – 276 cases;
Chernihiv region – 39 cases.
The tests were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories. As of the morning of April 28, 2020, the Center has received 1127 reports of suspected COVID-19 cases.
