Young people will compile a catalog of responsible companies in Ukraine during the pandemic (ANNOUNCEMENT)

CSR Ukraine, expert organization The CSR Development Center under the SDG-Ambassador Program, with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, will hold an online Network-A-Thon for youth "Business and Society" on April 28, 2020. The aim is to bring young people from all over Ukraine together to compile the first Catalog of Ukrainian Companies’ Contribution to the Fight Against COVID-19 (hereinafter – the Catalog). During the event, young people will be looking for and analyzing business activities during pandemic at national and regional levels.

Ukrainian business has been actively participating in the fight against COVID-19, donating thousands and millions of hryvnias to help doctors and hospitals, support their workers and socially vulnerable groups. Ukrainian media have also been supporting national companies by covering their contribution. But we are convinced that small and medium-sized businesses, just like large businesses, are also doing a great deal regionally, in small towns and villages.

How to assess this impact and contribution? 
To assess the contribution of large, small and medium-sized businesses, CSR Ukraine brings young people from all over Ukraine for the online Network-A-Thon "Business and Society". For five hours, teams will be searching for activities of companies in Ukraine during the pandemic in all available and proven sources to create the Catalog of Responsible Companies.   
It is expected that the results of the Network-A-Thon will be: 1)The Catalog of Responsible Companies during the Pandemic on the CSR Ukraine website, 2) increased reputation of business in the eyes of youth and society, 3) involvement of youth as volunteers in projects during the pandemic.
