Another dry vegetation fire, and once again citizens’ property was destroyed

Yesterday, April 9, at 17:09, the Rescue Service was reported about dry vegetation fire on the territory a household located in the town of Mizhhirya on Sadova Street. The report came from local residents, who had spotted the fire spreading to an outbuilding (shed) and destroying it within minutes. The people got quite scared, because the fire was quickly spreading across open territory and approached the residential house with a wooden second. Rescuers of the 4th State Fire and Rescue Unit of the town of Mizhhirya quickly eliminated the fire and rescued the building.
We urge citizens not to burn dry grass, leaves and other plant residues! Not only does it cause significant harm to the environment, destroying wildlife, but it also leads to other negative consequences posing a threat to human life and health. Remember, the unauthorized burning of dry vegetation or its residues entails administrative and criminal liability.
