Old trees in Uzhgorod can’t withstand strong wind (PHOTOS)

In recent days, the weather in Transcarpathia has been marked by cold and gusty winds.

Therefore, it is quite predictable that old trees can not withstand the force and fall down (entire trees or big branches). Not so long ago a poplar tree fell near the entrance to the TB dispensary in Uzhgorod, it was promptly removed and now only a broken fence reminds of the incident.

And today passers-by could see that a large branch had fallen on the bank of the Uzh near the pedestrian bridge on Fentsyk Square.

Fortunately, there were no casualties.
