Fighting COVID-19: Transcarpathian Hungarians are raising money to buy medical equipment

This is stated in the appeal of the Transcarpathian Hungarians, the KO informs
“Dear countrymen!
All of us are in danger of a pandemic. Let’s try to prevent the disaster together!
Given the state of our country’s health care system, the spread of coronavirus infection is a huge threat to our community!
We have already seen the horrible pictures of the conditions in hospitals in more developed countries. Many people dying, apocalyptic images.
It is no secret that hospitals do not have necessary equipment, medicines, protective masks, enough lung ventilators.
The Society of Hungarian Culture of Transcarpathia (KMKSZ) decided to do everything possible to help provide our region with the necessary medical equipment.
We are arranging a fundraiser for the purchase of the necessary medical equipment, including means of protection for healthcare professionals and citizens.
