In Uzhgorod, fraudsters demand money posing as tax officials

Fraudsters have stepped up their activities in the regional center of Transcarpathia.
Unidentified persons make calls to business entities of Uzhgorod from tel. number: +380683251474, presenting themselves as employees of the STI in Uzhgorod, and ask to call the head of the inspectorate – Maria Badyda at +380683244226.
During the calls, the offenders ask to transfer money to a bank account.
In this regard, we ask the citizens to be careful, and in such cases contact the Ministry of Internal Affairs units by phone "102".
