“My thoughts…” will be presented by the Transcarpathian Music and Drama Theater (ANNOUNCEMENT)

This spring marks the hundredth anniversary of the first public celebration of the Shevchenko holiday in Uzhgorod on April 16, 1920. And a year later, on April 24, 1921, the Transcarpathian theatrical Shevchenkian was launched with the production of "The Slave" in the theater "Prosvita". In 1923, Uzhgorod audience saw "Nazar Stodolya", and in 1924 "Katerina" and "Haydamaky"…
In total, Shevchenkian on the Transcarpathian stage includes dozens of performances, but there were only a few performances about the poet himself.
The premiere of the play "My thoughts…" will take place on Monday, March 9, on the birthday of the Kobzar. Anatoliy Filippov, the chief director of the Transcarpathian Academic Regional Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater, directed his own play about the Ukrainian poet. The performance will feature many poems of the Kobzar himself.
The premiere of the play "My thoughts…" will take place on the big stage of the Transcarpathian Music and Drama Theater on March 9 at 18.00. Almost the entire theater company is involved in the production, the Transcarpathian theater named after the Sherehiy brothers informs.
