The first COVID-19 coronavirus infection case has been recorded in Romania 
A man, who returned from Italy three weeks ago, was infected. Realitatea reported that he was quarantined at Bucharest Infectious Diseases.
Coronavirus outbreaks have already killed more than 2,600 people, most of them in China, and have spread to about 29 other countries. The number of confirmed cases has increased to over 80,000.
Europe’s largest epidemic is in Italy, with about 220 infections. About 1.3 million Romanians live and work in Italy.
