Today, on February 24, around 7 am, the police received a report of a road accident in the village of Zaluzhzhya, Mukachevo district
At the scene, investigators of the local police department found out that the accident involved two vehicles – a bus and a truck Volvo, the Comminucation department of the Transcarpathian police informed.
As a result of the car accident, two bus passengers were injured – a 23-year-old woman and a 16-year-old boy. They were taken to a hospital in Mukachevo. Both victims are residents of Rakhiv district.
Criminal proceedings over the accident were opened under part 1 of Art. 286 of the Criminal Code (Violation of traffic rules). The vehicles were taken to the impound lot of the Mukachevo district police department.
