Knife fight on the streets of Uzhgorod

Investigators of the Uzhgorod Police Department are establishing the circumstances of the conflict, which resulted in a 35-year-old Uzhgorod resident being stabbed.
According to the Transcarpathian regional police, on February 11 in the evening, at the intersection of Zakarpatska and Zahorska streets in Uzhgorod, law enforcement officers found out that as a result of a sudden conflict between a 35-year-old and a 51-year-old residents of Uzhgorod, the latter stabbed the former in the abdomen.
The victim was hospitalized.
The police opened criminal proceedings over intentional grievous bodily harm under Article 121 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Through joint efforts of investigators and operatives of the Uzhgorod Police Department, the person involved in the crime was found and brought to the police station.
The man was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the CPC of Ukraine and placed in a temporary detention center.
