It happened in the village of Rakoshino, Mukachevo district.
According to the Mukachevo regional police department, yesterday, on January 27, around 10:00 am, law enforcement officers received the report that at night an unknown person had stolen money from a payment terminal.
An investigative team arrived at the scene to find out that the terminal on the outer wall of a local store had been damaged.
According to the police, the man stole about 20 thousand hryvnias.
Proceedings under Article 185 (3) of the CCU, that is, theft combined with breaking and entering into residential, other premises or storage or causing significant loss to the victim, have been opened.
The perpetrator is currently being wanted.
According to local media, the payment terminal was opened with a gas cutter.
