Slovakia may send a diplomatic note
As reported by the media, after the car of ex-diplomat Igor Dir was set on fire in Uzhgorod, there was an explosion, which damaged two cars standing on either side of the burning car.
The car, which was on the right, belongs to the advisor to the mayor of Kosice on relations with Ukraine Eduard Burash, the prozak.info reported.
According to Mr. Burash, at that time, he was in Kyiv, where he held a press conference on the next Days of Ukraine in Kosice.
According to him, the Toyota, which was on the other side of the car, which was set on fire, belongs to the consul of the Consulate General of the Slovak Republic in Uzhgorod Zlatica Gregusova and was also damaged.
According to Eduard Burash, diplomats of the Slovak Consulate General live in the house, that the cars were parked next to. "This is about diplomatic security. According to the Vienna Agreement, diplomats have immunity and should be protected, but now we see that they are not protected enough. The explosion could have been much stronger. It is possible that Slovakia will send a diplomatic note on this matter," – Burash says.
He also hopes that law enforcement will do all necessary investigative actions and the perpetrators will be punished.
