In Transcarpathia, a fire started in school premises (PHOTOS)

Rescuers and teachers evacuated 20 children from the gym and another 157 from the school. 
On January 20, at 08:39, the Transcarpathian Rescue Service received a report of a smoke in the territory of the comprehensive school No. 1 located on Vyzvolennya street in the city of Svalyava. Crews of the 9th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Svalyava consisting of 3 units of equipment and 16 rescuers were immediately sent at the scene.
Having arrived at the scene, officers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine found out that the fire had occurred in the utility room of the gym on the area of ​​40 square meters. Rescuers and teachers evacuated 20 children from the gym and another 157 from the school.
At 09:05 the fire was contained and at 09:26 it was completely eliminated. The amount of damage and the cause of the fire are being determined.
There were no casualties.
