The performance “Coffee jazz – lyrical blues and…” was held in the theater

"Coffee jazz – lyrical blues and…" – this was the name of the musical premiere at the "small stage" of the Transcarpathian Music and Drama Theater in Uzhgorod. The experimental performance was a success. Spectators were sat at tables in a darkened room and listened. The main character on the stage was the theater orchestra headed by conductor Anastasia Zhuzhgova. The protagonist (host) was played by actor Taras Hamaha, who began his musical performance with silence, later was quoting poetic lines, memoirs, and sometimes would just remain silent. Announcing the play, the stage writer and director Gala Reut said: “We live in a chaos of sounds and constant hassle. That is why it is so important to stop and listen sometimes. Music is born of silence.”
