The organizers have released preliminary information about the traditional festival Uzhgorod Palachinta 2020.
The event will be held from February 14 to February 16. This year it will be held in the parking lot of the Dastor shopping center.
Detailed program will be released later.
The Uzhgorod Palachinta is a gastronomic festival with a diverse cultural and entertainment program that combines Ukrainian traditions and current trends. The name of the festival comes from the Hungarian word "palacsinta", which means "pancake" in the Transcarpathian dialect.
Usually, the festival program includes a concert program, fun entertainments and competitions for adults and children; prizes for daredevils who climb up a pillar; contest for the most delicious pancakes, awarding of winners.
In addition, visitors can taste traditional Transcarpathian dishes, drinks, wine, honey, pancakes and more.
