In Transcarpathia, a fight resulted in death of a local man

Irshava district police received from doctors a report that they had stated the death of a man in the village of Kushnytsia.
According to the communication department of the Transcarpathian regional police, a local resident died as a result of a fight in the village of Kushnytsia in Irshava district. The police have identified the offender, and he has been notified of being suspected of inflicting grievous bodily harm that caused the victim’s death.
“Upon arriving at the scene, the investigative team found on the body of the 50-year-old victim signs of violent death, including numerous bruises and hematomas. Later, the examination showed that the victim died as a result of fractures of the skull, face bones and other serious injuries,” – the report reads.
According to the mother of the victim, her son was beaten in the yard at his place of residence by unknown men.
The police of Irshava district opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 121 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The offender has already been identified, he is a 35-year-old resident of Kushnytsia. He was notified of being suspected of inflicting grievous bodily harm with lethal consequences. The circumstances of the crime are being established by investigators.
