Bethlehem Fire of Peace – on the Transcarpathian Borzhava (PHOTOS)

The Bethlehem Fire of Peace received from the Transcarpathian Plast members was brought to the top of the Mount Hybma on the Borzhava ridge.

The organizer of the event Orest Kohut told that to a correspondent of the Ukrinform.

“On January 4, the Save Borzhava community, together with the Hiking Club, organized a one-day hiking trip to the Borzhava. As part of this event, the Bethlehem Fire of Peace received from the Transcarpathian Plast members was delivered to the Mount Hymba ,” – Kohut said.

In addition, the Bethlehem Fire of Peace from the Transcarpathian Plast members was passed over to the community of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine in the village of Pylypets. The priest held a service on the mountain top.

According to Kohut, the event was organized to draw public attention to the construction of windmills on the Borzhava Ridge.

As you know, the Turkish developer plans to put more than 30 windmills on the tops of Borzhava meadows to produce "green" electricity.
