Transcarpathian customs officers found a record batch of hidden cigarettes in a refrigerator truck (PHOTOS)

Illegal export of tobacco products from Ukraine was prevented at the checkpoint “Dyakovo” of the Transcarpathian Customs.

According to the documents submitted for the customs control, the truck was transporting sweets from Lviv to one of the cities of Romania.

As a result of the inspection, customs officers found hidden cigarettes in the hollow spaces of the refrigerator truck.

An in-depth inspection and dismantling of the trailer walls is now underway to calculate hidden cigarettes.

An estimated number of tobacco products is over 20,000 packs of cigarettes, the Transcarpathian Customs of the State Customs Service reported.
