Lviv City Council reminds that the use of pyrotechnics in Lviv is prohibited. Pyrotechnics can cause harm to the health of the people who use them, as well as to everyone around them, especially animals.
Therefore, the city, in conjunction with the police, will be working to bring to justice those who violate the City Council’s decree banning the use of pyrotechnics.
“ We have the decree of the Lviv City Council and we are warning legal and natural persons who trade in pyrotechnic devices that it is forbidden. The use of any kind of fireworks, firecrackers, etc. is prohibited by the city council’s decree. We ask residents not to buy or use such producs. The decision was made due to the events in the East because of the war, so the use of fireworks in times of war is disrespectful to the people currently on the front. Therefore, we urge you not to use pyrotechnics. The City Council will work together with the police to prosecute the violators of this decree,” – the Deputy Mayor Serhiy Babak said.
Recall that the decree of the City Council No. 23 of 2015 "On the prohibition of the use and sale of fireworks and pyrotechnic articles on the territory of the city" is in effect in Lviv.
City Hall warns: the use of firecrackers, fireworks or other pyrotechnics can cause serious damage to health and even lead to injury.
