On December 21-24, deterioriation of weather conditions is expected in Transcarpathian region.
December 21: heavy rainfall in the western and central regions during the day. At night and in the morning, there will be fogs with visibility in the range of 200-500 m. During the day, increase of southeast wind up to 15-20 m / s is expected in the high mountains.
December 22-23: at night and in the morning throughout the territory, there will be significant rainfall, in the mountains mostly heavy rainfall, in the high mountains rain and wet snow. During the day, precipitation intensity will drop to moderate. During December 22, increase of the southeast wind up to 15-20 m / s is expected in the high mountains.
December 24: during the day, occasional rain, in the mountains – mostly heavy snow and snow, slush build-up. In some sections of mountain roads, there will be ice formation, the expected increase of snow cover is 7-10 cm. Air temperature during the day will be 0 to +5° warm, in the high mountains – from -2 to -4°.
Deterioration of weather conditions on December 21-24 correspond to the I (yellow) level of danger. Such weather conditions can lead to disruption of power supply, operation of public utilities, construction industry and disruption of traffic on some sections of the roads and streets. Risk of traffic hampering is minimal.

Hydrological storm warning
On December 21-23, the water levels on the rivers will increase:
– on most rivers by 0.5-1.5 m;
– on the Tisa river and in the lower reaches of most tributaries by 1.0-2.0 m;
– in the lower reaches of the Latorytsya and Stara rivers – by 2.0-2.5 m, with water reaching floodplain;
– in the lower reaches of the Borzhava river – by 2.5-3.0 m, with water reaching floodplain.
