Our “truants”: four Transcarpathian people’s deputies will be penalized for skipping Parliament meetings

The decision on withdrawal of reimburement to the people’s deputies of Ukraine for expenses related to the exercise of parliamentary powers in November 2019 has been published.

Having considered the information on people’s deputies who in November 2019 without good reason missed more than 30 percent of votings for resolutions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine at plenary meetings and more than 50 percent of the meetings of the committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Committee on Regulations resolved:

to ask the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Razumkov D. to issue an order, in accordance with the paragraph 2 of part 5 of Article 33 of the Law of Ukraine "On the status of the People’s Deputy of Ukraine", on the termination of reimbursement for expenses related to the exercise of parliamentary powers for November 2019 to the People’s Deputies of Ukraine.

Among them, there are deputies from Transcarpathian region:

– Victor Baloha,

– Valeriy Lunchenko,

– Vasyl Petyovka,

– Robert Horvat

In total 81 deputies were deprived of reimbursement.
