Famous Transcarpathian doctor Mykhailo Chernyak has passed away

"Today, an extraordinary person, a great physician, that come once a century, has passed away. His knowledge, skill and dedication to his work have saved many lives. Mykhailo Chernyak. A man who would give support and help in everything, who was a professional not only in medicine, but also in beekeeping, horticulture and viticulture.The best adviser, counselor and friend.
Mykhailo Chernyak was born on October 28, 1949 in the town of Nova Ushytsya, in Khmelnytsky region. At the age of 16 he graduated from school. In 1966 he entered the Uzhgorod National University at the Faculty of Medicine. In 1972 he graduated with honors. From 1972 to 1976 he worked as an anesthetist in Nizhniy Udinsk, Irkutsk region. In 1976 he returned to Transcarpathia. He worked for a year in Velyky Berezny, and was subsequently transferred to the Tyachiv District Hospital, where he worked for 40 years. He created the best intensive care unit in the region at that time. At various times, he held the position of the Chief Physician and the Head of the District Health Department.
In 2017, he moved to Uzhgorod, where he worked for two years at the department of anesthesiology and intensive care of Uzhgorod district hospital, and most recently at the private clinic Astramed.
He brought up wonderful children who followed in their parents’ footsteps and became good doctors.
