Training for managers of apartment buildings, heads of ACMBs and housing boards on the topic "New realities of apartment building management: legal aspects" was held recently at Uzhgorod City Council.
Marina Kuberka, the Head of the Housing and Utilities Department of the Uzhgorod City Council, opened the training, introduced the speakers and announced the topic of the meeting.
The training was delivered by consultants of the project IFC "Energy Efficiency in the Housing Sector of Ukraine" Volodymyr Bryhilevych and Andriy Bury.
They discussed in detail the forms of apartment building management, benefits and risks. The participants learned about the goals, tasks, areas of activity of the Association of Residential Property Managers.
They also spoke about the legal aspects of apartment building management, including the development of the housing legislation of Ukraine, legal status and features, practical aspects of the manager’s activity, features of interaction between the manager and the ACMB, features of termination or change of the terms of the contract for the management of an apartment building.
During the training, the heads of ACMB boards asked mostly about claims against debtors.
The training was organized with the support of the IFC project, the World Bank Group’s Housing Energy Efficiency, funded by the Swiss Confederation within the Office of Professional Management of Residential Buildings, in collaboration with the Association of Residential Property Managers.
