Border guards caught smugglers in the Tisa

The activities carried out near the settlement of Dilove in Transcarpathia turned out to be fruitful. Thus, according to the operational information, a response group consisting of servicemen of the "Dilove" border guard department detained a man in wetsuit 50 meters from the border. 
During further searches, the border guards found another man in the same area. He had a bag with change of clothes, probably for his associate. The detainees were a 17 and a 21-year-old Ukrainian citizens. To find out all the circumstances of the offense and draft administrative and procedural documents, both of them were brought to the border guard unit.
In addition, a joint border patrol of Ukrainian and Romanian border guards, during the monitoring of the adjacent border area, found four boxes containing 1500 packs of cigarettes.
Rakhiv district court imposed on the 21-year-old detainee a seven-day administrative arrest. The minor diver’s wetsuit was confiscated.
