In Transcarpathia, law enforcement officers found a warehouse for marijuana packing and computer equipment used to mine cryptocurrency, the Prosecutor’s Office of Transcarpathia reported.
In the course of the authorized searches in the framework of criminal proceedings in connection with the sale of narcotic substances, law enforcement officers found about 5 kg of marijuana packed in individual packages and crystalline powdery substance.
Also, during the inspection of the premises, law enforcement officers found and seized computer equipment that is commonly used for cryptocurrency mining.
211 units of this equipment were unauthorizedly connected to the mains. The additional classification in this regard is being determined.
