Sunday performance: concert Sonata will be performed as part of an art project in Uzhgorod

On November 24, the musicians will present the concert program SONATA.

In this cold autumn time, Olga Chundak (organ, Uzhgorod) and people’s artist of Ukraine Oles Yasko (violin, Kyiv) will warm up music lovers in Uzhgorod with a beautiful music.

Oles Yasko (violin) is a People’s Artist of Ukraine. He graduated from the Kyiv State Conservatory.    He began active concert and performing activities during his studies. In 1979 he received the first prize at the MV Lysenko All-Ukrainian competition of violinists.   The solo repertoire consists of violin music of the XVIII – XXI centuries.

Olga Chundak is a laureate of many international and all-Ukrainian competitions, artist of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic, concertmaster, teacher. She has presented solo programs in Dnipro, Lviv, Odessa, Bila Tserkva, Mariupol, Budapest (Hungary), Moscow and Kaliningrad (Russia), Kaunas and Vilnius (Lithuania). 

The concert starts at 16.00.

The event will be hosted by the music historian Natalia PITSUR.
