Kostraba will be under house arrest

The relevant ruling was made recently by the Uzhgorod City and District Court.
According to the press service, the defendant’s lawyer said that the girl had not shown up for preliminary preparatory court sessions because she was in hospital.
That is why the prosecutor filed a petition to impose on the defendant a pre-trial restraint in the form of 24-hour house arrest using electronic means of control.
"Following the trial, the judge upheld the petition of the law enforcement officers and imposed a pre-trial restraint in the form of 24-hour house arrest using electronic means of control until January 15, 2020. And announced a break in the preparatory court session because the pre-trial investigation body has not determined the procedural status of the person who was the victim of the offense," – the court report states.
