A murder suspect was arrested in Transcarpathia (PHOTOS)

The preliminary circumstances of the murder have been established. The landlord stabbed the occupant’s neck with a knife. 

 
 A 32-year-old resident of Khust killed his tenant. The police detained him at the crime scene. The man was taken into custody. They are preparing to notify him of being suspected and to impose a pre-trial restraint in the form of detention. The investigation has been initiated.  
According to the Official site of the Main Office of the National Police in Transcarpathian region, yesterday, November 9, at 3:25 pm, the Khust police department received from a local resident a report that a man had come out of the next door house and said that he had committed a murder. 
Officers of the investigation team and the Patrol Police Response Team arrived at the scene. The law enforcement officers detained a 32-year-old local resident at the scene. 
“The police found in the suspect’s apartment the body of a man with signs of violent death. The victim was a 59-year-old resident of the district who rented the place,” – the Communication Department of the Transcarpathian regional police informs. 
It was reported that the police had established the preliminary circumstances of the murder. 
"During a joint drinking of alcoholic beverages, the men started fighting and the owner of the apartment stabbed the occupant’s neck with a knife," – the police said. 
At the same time, it was noted that the police had detained the man in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. The weapon of the crime – knife – was seized. 
The incident was registered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations under Article 115 (1) (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of this Article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of 7 to 15 years. The choice of pre-trial restraint in the form of detention is currently being decided.
