Transcarpathia is one of 4 regions in Ukraine where wired radio has lost its popularity, so it will no longer be serviced.
According to Ukrtelecom, less than 1% of the population in the region has been using this radio since February 1, 2020.
“It is clear that most of the broadcasting network equipment popular in the last century is extremely worn physically and outdated, which constantly requires repair and considerable expenses,” – the Ukrtelecom wrote.
