The Cabinet of Ministers allocated UAH 657 thousand per school for the construction of toilets in Transcarpathian schools

October 6. UNN. At the end of 2018, UAH 44,031 thousand was allocated for the construction of internal toilets in 67 schools in Transcarpathian region. This was reported by the Department of Education of Transcarpathian RSA.
“By the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of December 18, 2018 No. 1012-p “On allocation of the reserve of education subventions from the state budget to local budgets in 2018”, the funds of educational subvention from the state budget to local budgets in the amount of UAH 44031.0 thousand (UAH 44,031,000 – ed.) were allocated to Transcarpathian region to ensure proper sanitary and hygienic conditions in the premises of general secondary education establishments of the region. The decision of the session of the regional council of 04.04.2019 № 1422 distributed the specified sum between the budgets of districts on the basis of co-financing”, – the department reported. 
There are 67 such schools in need of improvement of sanitary and hygienic conditions in Transcarpathia. 
Thus, if the sum allocated by the government is divided equally between all the schools, it will be UAH 657 thousand; so if this amount is not enough for a school, the outstanding amount can be contributed by parents or any other private persons.
