The number of vacancies submitted by employers to the regional employment service, as of September 1, 2019, has increased compared to the previous year.
In terms of types of economic activity, the largest number of vacancies is in manufacturing enterprises (26.7%); in education (20.0%); in trade and repair of motor vehicles (11.4%); in transport, warehousing, postal and courier activities (10.7%); in public administration and defense (9.5%); in temporary accommodation and catering (3.7%); in health care (3.5%), in construction (3.4%).
In terms of occupational groups: the highest demand is observed for skilled workers with tools, workers for maintenance of technological equipment and workers in the sphere of trade and services.
The average salary in the vacancies was UAH 6.3 thousand (as of September 1, 2018 – UAH 5.7 thousand), in 83.6% of vacancies wages are above minimum.
