Last night, three hundred Uzhgorod residents took part in the night run, which started at 20.00 from Teatralna Square. The city Mayor Bohdan Andriyiv announced the start of the race.
The participants ran along the route "Teatralna Square – the intersection of Korzo Street – Nezalezhnist Embankment – Masaryk Bridge – Kyivska Embankment – Pedestrian Bridge", winners received memorable statuettes and medals, valuable gifts from partners. The youngest participant of the night run Maksim Shtalovski (4.5 years) and the oldest one – 75-year-old Mykola Loshak – were also awarded.
This year, the event was organized by the Department of Culture, Youth and Sports of Uzhgorod City Council with the support of the Transcarpathian Office of the Bodybuilding Federation of Ukraine, the Athletics Federation of Transcarpathian Region, the Children’s and Youth Sports School №1 in Uzhgorod, NGO "Uzhgorod Running Club", sponsors and patrons.
