Road accident in Khust district: there are victims

The police received a report about a car accident with victims between the settlements of Yablunivka-Vyshkovo in Khust district.

At the scene, the police found out that a 24-year-old driver of an Opel Vectra, while driving in the direction of Vyshkovo, lost control, drove into a ditch and crashed into a tree. The driver and his 16-year-old passenger, residents of the village of Yablunivka, were injured in the collision. Both victims were taken to the district hospital in the city of Khust.

As reported by the communication department of the Transcarpathian regional police, a criminal proceeding was opened over violation of the rules of road safety under article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The car was taken to the impound lot of the police station. The investigation continues.
