The number of Transcarpathians, who have found jobs with the assistance of the Employment Service, has increased this year

During January-July 2019, the number of persons employed with the assistance of the Transcarpathian Regional Employment Service amounted to 12.1 thousand, which is 1.1% more than that in January-July last year. 74.4% of them were employed promptly before being granted unemployment status.

Former unemployed persons found jobs in wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles; processing industry; agriculture, forestry and fisheries; catering; construction; public administration and defense, compulsory social insurance; education, transport, postal and courier activities; health care and social assistance, etc.

115 unemployed persons were hired for new jobs with compensation to the employers for the single contribution to the compulsory state social insurance.

With the assistance of the Regional Employment Service, temporary employment was provided to 1325 citizens, who took part in public and other temporary works. Those are maintenance of streets, burial sites, memorials, roadside lanes, environmental protection, work with documents in archives and other state institutions, informing the population about subsidies, work with socially vulnerable sections of the population, provision of assistance to ATO participants their families.
