Last night, border guards of the department "Vylok" of the Mukachevo detachment detained illegal migrants from the Middle East. Using the information received from the operational staff of the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service, the response team found and detained three men without documents near the border.
During the initial questioning, the border guards found out that the detainees were Iraqi citizens. The foreigners intended to illegally cross the state border with Hungary and get to one of the countries of the European Union.
In order to draft reports on administrative violations, the detainees were taken to the department of the border guard service. Measures to establish all the circumstances of the offense are being taken. The foreigners will be judged in court.
