Traditionally, the dawn of August 24 in Uzhgorod will start with a joint prayer for peace in our country.
For the sixth time, the Honored Academic Transcarpathian People’s Choir headed by Natalia Petiy-Potapchuk will hold "Prayer for Ukraine" dedicated to the 28th Independence Day. Every year the event bring Uzhgorod residents together at different locations in the city. This year, the patriotic action will take place on Andriy Bachynsky Square. As reported by the Transcarpathian People’s Choir, the feature of this year’s "Prayer for Ukraine" will be the participation of foreign guests – amateur groups "Valgundietis" and "Saulgriezhi" from Latvia, who are preparing choreographic performances. Traditionally, Uzhgorod will wake Ukraine up with the bells of temples, prayer will be performed in many languages, which is especially relevant for the multinational region. Representatives of the clergy of different denominations will take part in the event. So, everyone is invited to join the festive prayer for Ukraine. The beginning is at 6 am. Source.
