A child was injured on the Mukachevo-Rohatyn highway

An accident occurred in the village of Lazeshchyna in Rakhiv district 
On the Mukachevo-Rohatyn highway, the driver of a Skoda Superb lost control and collided with an SUV. 
As a result of the collision, one of the drivers hit an underage girl. A criminal proceeding over the accident has been opened 
On August 6, at 19:10, a traffic accident occurred on the Mukachevo-Rohatyn highway in the village of Lazeshchyna, Rakhiv district. The investigative team found out that the driver of a car Skoda, a 31-year-old resident of the village of Chorna Tysa, driving with a passenger, his 25-year-old brother, drove onto the oncoming lane, where he collided with a car Opel Frontera. As a result of the collision, the 26-year-old driver of the SUV hit a minor girl on the side of the road.  The victims were taken to the emergency ward of the local district hospital. Source. 
The vehicles were taken to the impound lot, the drivers’ blood samples were taken to determine alcohol intoxication. 
A criminal proceeding over the accident was opened under Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of the traffic safety rules). The investigation continues.
