Igor Bondarenko is assuming personal control of the road repairs in the region

Residents of Transcarpathia, guests, tourists, as well as drivers who drive through our region often complain about the quality of the road surface. That is why improvement of the quality of the roads in the region is one of the priorities for the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Igor Bondarenko.
 “We have a radically different, more economic approach to this problem. While previously the funds were used for the capital construction of the network of regional roads, which allowed to repair only 5% of the roads in the region, now we are doing patch repairs of the roads in the region to make sure these roads can be driven on,” – the head of the region said.
 They have identified 35 locations to be urgently repaired.   
 "The issue of road quality is under my personal control. This is the order of the President of Ukraine, so we must do everything to fix our roads. We will continue to inform the public about the state of affairs in this area,” – Igor Bondarenko assured.
