XII All-Ukrainian convention of young local tourists has started in Irshava district (PHOTOS)

This year, 15 teams from different regions of Ukraine take part in the convention 
On July 28, the XII All-Ukrainian convention of young local historians started in the Central camp of young tourism enthusiasts of Ukraine in the village of Osiy. 
       The program of the Convention includes five areas of local lore research: historical lore, folklore and ethnography, ecology, geographical lore, geology. 
     The competition program includes the following competitions: 
introduction of the team; 
contest-defense of local lore research theses on: "Games and Entertainment in Folk Traditions"; 
tourist and local history quiz. 
This year 15 teams from different regions of Ukraine take part in the convention. According to the rules, each region is represented by one team of 7 participants and two leaders. 
According to the deputy director of the Ukrainian State Center for National Patriotic Education, Regional Studies and Tourism Youth Dmytro Omelchenko, as a result of the competitive program, the leaders of the teams winning 1, 2, 3 places will be awarded with certificates of the Ministry of Education, Certificates and Diplomas of the Ukrainian State Center of National Patriotic Education, Local History and Tourism, cups and medals. In addition, the winners will receive prizes: board themed games "History of the UPA" and "100 Years of the Ukrainian Revolution". 
The 12th All-Ukrainian convention of young local historians will last until August 3, 2019. Source.
