As we reported, the patrol squads of the National Guard of Ukraine will assist the Uzhgorod police in law enforcement on the streets of the regional center.
On Narodna Square, near the monument to Taras Shevchenko, the personnel was briefed before patrolling the city. The briefing was conducted by the Deputy Chief of the Preventive Activities Department of the Transcarpathian regional police Colonel Vadim Sitalo, the Deputy Chief of the Uzhgorod City Police Department Lieutenant Colonel Vyacheslav Krulko and Captain of the National Guard of Ukraine Serhiy Vinyarsky.
The National Guard members will be patrolling in Uzhgorod, both by themselves and with the policemen. There are officers with dogs among them. More people in uniform on the streets of our cities should make the lives of law-abiding citizens more peaceful and safe and prevent crimes.
