The International parade of chimney-sweeps in honor of the symbol of the city of Mukachevo, chimney-sweep Berti bacsi, as he is popularly known, has taken place for four consecutive years.
This year, it is a special occasion, because Bertalon Tovt is 70! Chimney-sweeps from Transcarpathia, Hungary, Latvia and Estonia took part in the parade. The chimney-sweeps marched from the Peremoha park to the monument to Berti bacsi, which is located in the central part of the city. He was greeted by the mayor Andriy Baloha. The symbol of the city was gifted a brand new bike and an honorary diploma of the city council.
