Officers of the Security Service of Ukraine, under the procedural control of the Prosecutor’s Office in Transcarpathian region, together with the territorial office of the State Bureau of Investigation located in the city of Lviv, caught an official of the State institution "Center of Probation" in Transcarpathian region on bribe.
The special service operatives found out that the official was demanding money from interested citizens for not having them registered with the probation bodies.
Law enforcers documented the fact that the official received an unlawful benefit in amount of $ 400.
A criminal proceeding under Part 1 of Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine has been initiated, the choice of pre-trial restraint against the offender is being decided.
