Tokar Edgar – “Servant of the People” in the 69th constituency – believes that the constituency has opportunities for absolutely all types of entrepreneurial activity!

The first meeting of candidates for people’s deputies in the single-seat constituencies of Transcarpathia from the party "Servant of the People" took place yesterday. We talked with the candidate from the 69th constituency Tokar Edgar about the main current problems and approaches to their solution.

 – Reveal the secret that everyone wants to know. How to become a candidate from the party "Servant of the People"?

 – Everyone is talking about the mysterious selection, but for me everything was easy. During the first round of the presidential election, I contacted Zelensky’s team in Transcarpathia. Later, I was asked to fill out a questionnaire – I filled it out, they invited me to Kyiv for a seminar – I went, and here I am.

 – So simple? Without hundreds of thousands of dollars for a seat?

 – Yes! So simple.

 – What do you do for a living, and where do you get the money for the election campaign?

 – We have a family business. My mother and wife are engaged in the tourism business, I help them. So, if you will, my campaign is sponsored by our family’s women (smiles, ed.)

 – The name Tokar is controversial in Mukachevo, are you a relative of the famous crime lord Mykhailo Tokar (Gesha)?

 – Our closest common relative in the family tree is my great-grandfather, who had 10 children, so I have a lot of cousins.

 – What do you offer voters?

 – Implementation of the program of the party "Servant of the People", first of all. I think that all Ukrainians are expecting it, and we can not let them down.

 – Then explain what makes you better than the others

 – You know, I have a vision of a slightly different Mukachevo. After all, Mukachevo is not just a beautiful center and cobblestone. Mukachevo is in fact the most advantageous economic location in Transcarpathia. This is an opportunity for absolutely all kinds of entrepreneurial activity. The fact that we do not see an economic boom here has only one explanation: if you want to have successful business in the city, you have to join one of the "clans". Therefore, entrepreneurs either go down or work within the "system", which has nothing to do with the success of Mukachevo.

 – Do you think you can stop it all?

 – Half a year ago, few people thought that Zelensky would become president. Now, I’m sure that in half a year we will not remember half of those people "that cannot be named".
