The culprit in a night accident is being wanted in Transcarpathia

Officers of the Transcarpathian police ask citizens, who have any information about the accident, to report it by phone "102" 

In the village of Boronyava, Khust district, the driver of a white car “MERCEDES Sprinter” hit a cyclist and fled from the accident scene.  

According to the official website of the Main Office of the National Police in Transcarpathian region, on June 8, the police received a report that a traffic accident with victims had occurred in the village of Boronyava, Khust district.  

At the scene of the accident, the investigative team found out that around 23:30, near the village of Boronyava, the driver of a white MERCEDES Sprinter had hit a cyclist and fled from the scene.  

“The victim – a 48-year-old resident of the village of Velyatyno – was taken to the emergency department of the Khust district hospital. The cyclist was tested – he was sober,” – the Communication Department of the Transcarpathian regional police informs.  

The police are taking steps to identify the driver and clarify all the circumstances of the accident.
