Transcarpathian customs officers found 15 thousand packs of cigarettes without excise stamps

Last night, at the customs post "Pavlovo", employees of the Transcarpathian Customs together with border guards found 15,000 packs of cigarettes in a freight train en route from Ukraine to Slovakia.

The cigarettes were hidden in black polyethylene bags under a layer of ore. The tobacco products "Compliment", "Marvel Blue", "Marvel Red" and "Marvel Original" were without excise stamps of Ukraine.

The customs officers will send to the Main Office of the SFS in Transcarpathian region a notification of an unlawful act under Article 204 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the regional office of the SFS informed.
