The petition for moratorium on the construction in the historical part of Uzhgorod has gained the required number of votes

As you know, the petition "On temporary moratorium on the construction on land plots and reconstruction or completion of facilities within the historical area of Uzhgorod" was registered on the site of the city council.   

Already a week before the end of the signature collection, the petition gained 280 of the required 250 votes.

The petition contains the demands "to temporarily suspend issuance of permits for the execution of construction works regardless of ownership within the limits of the historical area and the development regulation zone of the first category in the city of Uzhgorod set by the scientific and project documentation "Historical and architectural master plan of the city of Uzhgorod, Transcarpathian region, identifying the boundaries of the monument and historical area protection zones" developed by the Historical Research Institute, until the registration of all newly discovered objects of cultural heritage in the city of Uzhgorod in the State Register of Immovable Monuments of Ukraine in accordance with the List of Cultural Heritage Objects".
