You can submit nominations for the prize of Uzhgorod City Mayor for gifted youth

Starting from May 1, you can submit nominations for the Uzhgorod City Mayor’s prize for gifted youth.

The competition for the prize is open to the city residents based on the submissions of managers of higher educational institutions (1 candidate from each institution), vocational schools and art schools of Uzhgorod. Persons aged 14 years old, who study in the current academic year in educational and art institutions of Uzhgorod, can be nominated.
The prize is awarded for:
– scientific achievements – work in the scientific sphere, conducting researches,
having publications, reports, abstracts, patents, inventions related to the development of the city;
– creative achievements – obtaining the title of winner (laureate, diplomant)
at all-Ukrainian, international competitions, olympiads, and other cultue and art competitions; significant achievements in the field of art,
literature, music, folk art, architecture, popularization of the traditional culture of the Ukrainian people;
– contribution to the development of the youth movement – active work towards
implementation of youth policy, work in public organizations,
volunteering, implementation of social projects aimed at promoting healthy lifestyle and development of sport, patriotic
education of youth, employment, development of intellectual potential, environmental consciousness of young people.

3 prizes in amount of 10 thousand hryvnias each are granted annually.

Documents are accepted starting from May 1, 2019 at the Department of Culture, Youth and Sports of Uzhgorod City Council (Poshtova sq., 3, office 412, Uzhgorod, 88000).
