In Uzhgorod, a drunk driver damaged a lawn, an advertising billboard and a car

Uzhgorod patrol policemen received a report about an accident without victims on Hrushevsky Street.

Having arrived at the scene, they found out that the driver of a Mercedes failed to keep a safe speed, did not take into account the road situation, lost control and drove to the roadside. As a result, the car, green plantations and a billboard were damaged. Fortunately, no one was hurt.

Moreover, it turned out that the man was driving while being drunk, which was confirmed by the special device Drager – 0.67 ppm. The inspectors drew up a number of administrative materials, in particular, under Part 3 of Article 130 of the CAO (if found guilty by the court, the driver will pay a fine of 40,800 hryvnias and will be deprived of the right to drive vehicles for 10 years) and for causing an accident (Article 124 of the CAO).

But this was not the end of story! Patrol policemen also found out that the man was wanted for committing a criminal offense under Article 358 of the Criminal Code. Therefore, he was taken to the Uzhgorod Police Department to establish further circumstances of the case!
