Sakuras are beautiful. They please the eye, they inspire, they give the annual anticipation, and then – joy. They are the source of the traditional spring inflow of tourists and several festivals.
But sakuras are also mainstream, admit it. And there is some injustice in the fact that they get all the attention. But I can admire other, no less beautiful spring flowers.
For example, tulip trees and magnolias are as fine as the Japanese cherries.
And those are just the usual ones. And what about more rare, lemon magnolias? They can also be found in our city! Look here:
The ordinary wistaria sometimes looks out of this world!
And the lilac of different colors even more so…
Even chestnuts have already lit their candles. By the way, there are many different species of chestnuts in Uzhgorod
And also the wonderful so-called Judas tree!
Even familiar, ordinary apple, pear and plum trees these days painted our city with beautiful, almost bridal colors.
And the tulips on the flower beds!
And other cute flowers, whose names I do not even know!
The beauty is around us, you just need to see it and be able to enjoy it. Every moment. Because these petals’ life is short. The sakuras have already started to slough.
And to cover sidewalks and roads with gentle and almost living carpets.
Soon, it will be over. However, you can always find other beautiful moments around.
Love Uzhgorod, in any season.
