On April 18, at 4 pm, the V exhibition-contest "The World of Easter Eggs" will open in the Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life. Its purpose is popularization and development of Easter egg making traditions in Transcarpathian region, introduction to different types of Easter egg painting, reproduction of its authentic designs, drawing attention to and respect for the Ukrainian folk traditions and customs.
The best exhibits will be awarded prizes in three nominations "Traditional Easter Egg", "Original Easter Egg", "Innovative Solution", and all exhibitors will receive diplomas. More than 50 masters will take part in the exhibition this year, and more than 500 Easter eggs in various techniques will be presented.
